In Good Company was founded by practitioners who’ve spent their careers improving how organisations show up for customers - especially when systems, scale, or change make that difficult.

Stephen Barber brings deep experience across customer experience, brand, and technology, with a career grounded in helping organisations design services that are both human and operationally sound. His work spans customer journey design, CX transformation, and the practical application of technology to support frontline teams and customer relationships - always with a focus on clarity, trust, and long-term value.

Alongside Stephen, In Good Company is shaped by complementary experience across operations, service design, and customer-led strategy - developed inside growing businesses and established organisations alike. Together, we’ve worked close to the realities of customer operations: the pressure on teams, the complexity of systems, and the gap that often forms between good intent and lived experience.

Eliza Flanagan, Co-founder

Eliza is a customer-led strategist working across marketing, operations, and intelligent systems. She partners closely with teams to uncover real customer needs, identify friction, and design experience improvements supported by thoughtfully applied AI and automation. Eliza is known for problem-solving and supporting impactful change — ensuring technology is used to deepen care, not distance it, and that human judgment remains central.
